Yes, Yoga was born from a genuine passion and commitment to practice, teaching, and community – Yes, Yoga is here for and because of our students. We hope you will join our Yes, Yoga family! We are a new *mostly* hot yoga studio on Oak Street in Uptown New Orleans. We are based in the Bikram Style, and have expanded our classes beyond that to offer many styles of yoga, and different ways ways to explore the body and mind. Our knowledgeable instructors hail from all around the country and have been trained and taught all over the world. They are certified in styles ranging from Ashtanga to Bikram, from Vinyasa to Barkan, Yin and beyond. Our yoga classes offer a unique blend of strength and flexibility for both body and mind. While we wish to set ourselves apart from the Bikram name, our 90 min Classic 26 & 2 classes are true Bikram classes, and their 60 min counterpart, the Hot Quickie, is a shortened version of the same class. We are the only studio in Uptown New Orleans to offer a truly Hot Vinyasa class, and all of our classes are inspiring, challenging and accessible.
For the yoga-shy and the injured, beginners and advanced, our classes are designed to be accessible and effective for everyone, and the variety we offer should suit most levels, moods, and schedules. Our purpose is to facilitate and encourage the practice of yoga in Uptown New Orleans, and to share our love of yoga: the deep connection between body, mind, self, other, community, and the greater whole.
